Does anyone know a close font to the Mcdonalds logo?
(the writing under the golden arches).
I know it's prob a specially made up font but is there anything even
remotely close?

I've looked at
geneva
arial
helvetica
futura

and the lowercase 'a' does not look close at all.

thanks if you can help.

um ... which lowercase "a"?

If I check with the american site
http://www.mcdonalds.com/

I just get to see "I'm lovin' it" in a font that could be almost
everything but as a guess I'd say Helvetica- or Akzidenz Grotesk- bold.

The font used on
http://www.mcdonalds.com/corp.html

for "McDonald's Corporation" looks like a DIN-Mittelschrift to me.

You may take a look for yourself:

Marc
